CV Rada Šešic

Rada Šešic was born in Croatia, worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina moved to The Netherlands in 1993. Lectures on Indian cinema (University of Amsterdam) and teaches at Rotterdam Film Course. Selects South Asian films for International Film Festival Rotterdam and is on the selection comity of Hubert Bals Fund, part of IFFR.

As one of selectors, collaborates on the programme of IDFA in Amsterdam and is a comity member of IDFA's Fund Jan Vrijman. For the last four years, she is an advisor of STIFO- Dutch Fund for Supporting Film and Television creative collaboration.

In Bosnia, she is the selector of the Regional Documentary Programme at Sarajevo Film Festival and in India one of programmers of the International Kerala Film Festival. Served at the several juries at the film festivals around the world (a.o.Joris Ivens Jury at IDFA, Moscow, Crakow, Bombay, Geneve, Prizren, Zagreb, Sarajevo,Bornholm, Aarhuis,Neuwebrandenburg).
Guest lecturer at the Universities- Anadolu in Eshisehir, in Geneve Ecole superieure des Beaux-arts and at Nederlandse Film Academy. Works also as a tutor for European Documentary Network.

As a scriptwiter and director, made in the Netherlands three films: Room Without a View, 1997, Soske ,2001 and In Whitest Solitude, 2002.

Writes for Skrien (The Netherlands), Dox (Denmark) , Film Guide- Variety (UK) Documentary Encyclopedia (USA) Film Annual (Croatia)collaborated on the book "24 Frames" by Dina Iordanova
